Лечение больных с многофрагментарными внутрисуставными переломами дистального метаэпифиза плечевой кости

2014
The work is based on the results of analyzing treatment features of 162 patients with injuries of the distal humerus metaepiphysis depending on the type of fracture and method of treatment. Best results are obtained when using external stable osteosynthesis with screws and plates. When treating patients with multifragment fractures with the presence of small fragments, percentage of negative results is the greatest due to the complexity of stable fixation of small fragments. The authors have developed a device that enables to implement a stable fixation of small bone fragments due to the compression effect, and the method of its application. Conducted biomechanical studies and mathematical calculations showed good locking capability of the developed device. Clinical testing of the developed device and method of stable osteosynthesis of small fragments in multifragment fractures enabled to achieve excellent results in 2 cases, good in 6, one outcome is rated as satisfactory. The device developed by us has shown good locking capabilities and has broad prospects for application in clinical practice.
