The present invention relates to a central control device and a control method thereof, capable of identifying a user. The electronic device according to the embodiment of the present invention includes a body of the electronic device, an output unit which is arranged on the body and outputs information, a sensing unit which senses the approach of the user with regard to the body, and a control unit which identifies the user and outputs information related to the identified user. The output unit includes a display unit and a speaker.
