Magnetic Properties of Insoluble Binary System Thin Film
1985
Annealing insoluble binary system thin films containing Fe in a magnetic field at temperatures of 200°C or more, causes a sharp increase in coercive force and saturation magnetization. X-ray diffraction of the annealed samples revealed large peaks, which grew larger at increased temperatures, but no such peaks were observed in the control group indicating the rapid formation of Fe clusters. The absence of in-plane anisotropy was verified using X-ray diffraction patterns.
