多発性硬化症(MS)における聴性脳幹反応(ABR)の意義

1987
The Auditory Brainstem Response (ABR) was recorded in patients with Multiple Sclerosis (MS), and the relationship between ABR-views and clinical symptom was examined. The prolongation of I-III IPL, which suggests disorders in the inferior region of the pons, and the prolongation of III-V IPL, which suggests disorders in the superior region of the pons, showed a positive correlation with each clinical symptom. Therefore, ABR appearing to be a good diagnostic aid in determining brainstem foci by giving valuable and objective information as to the affected site and range, especially in patients without brainstem symptoms or signs and no obvious lesions. Further studies are needed on the differences of ABR-views in remissions and exacerbations and on the relationship between ABR-views and the treatment and prognosis of MS.
