Penile Nodules in Southeast Asian Men

Various aspects of disorders of the genitalia have traditionally fallen into the realm of care provided by the dermatologist. We describe and discuss the cutaneous manifestation of an unusual practice and its complications. Report of Cases Case 1.— A 20-year-old Laotian man was seen for nodular lesions on his penis that became tender with intercourse. According to the patient, these nodules were first noted nine months previously and seemed to have gradually enlarged during the following months. On physical examination, two firm, oval, subcutaneous penile nodules were noted. One was located on the dorsal midshaft of the penis and the other was on the ventrolateral midshaft.
