Reception, Social Networks and Production of Basic Health Care in the City of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

2021
Descriptive study, with a quantitative approach, outlined by the analysis of the relationships of health professionals in a Primary Care unit in the city of Rio de Janeiro whose objectives were to identify, from the reception, the social networks of the actors for the production of care in Primary Care in Health and to characterize the existing relationships / interactions according to the degree of centrality, proximity and intermediation. The data were analyzed using Social Network Analysis (ARS), using the software Ucinet and Netdraw, which allowed the construction of the sociogram and the generation of network metrics. The ARS made it possible to understand the position of the actors and how the relationships between them are formed through welcoming. The density measure was low, indicating that not all actors are in direct contact with each other, exchanging information or any type of resource, contributing to little network cohesion. As for measures of centrality, proximity and intermediation, the study highlights the actors of higher education, with the exception of nursing technicians. It was concluded from the social network that the reception of users in the field follows an already established dialectic, based on the evidenced, judged complaint and the immediate offer of answers, when the expected for the field is a care focused on the promotion and prevention in Cheers.
