Persepsi Dukungan Organisasi dan Karakteristik Pekerjaan Terhadap Knowledge Sharing: Organizational Citizenship Behavior Sebagai Mediasi

Organizational citizenship x behavior has been recognized as an important variable for every organization both in academicians and practitioners. The x purpose of this study is to investigate the x role of organizatinal citizenship behavior as mediator on x the relationship x between perceived x organizational support, job characteritics and knowledge sharing. The number of respondents that could be used in this study was 37 employees of the Civil x Servants in x the Public Works and x Public Housing Agency x of the West Sumatra Region of Padang City. The results x of analysis showed x that the perceived organizational x support and job x characteristics did not affect significantly knowledge sharing. Perceived organizational x support was x found to have positive effect on x organizational citizenship behavior and job x characteristics did not influence x organizational citizenship behavior. Furthermore, x organizational citizenship behavior x was found to have x positive effect on knowledge x sharing. In addition, organizational x citizenship behavior was x proven to mediate the x relationship between perceived organizational x support and knowledge sharing. x However, it did not x mediate the relationship between job x characteristics and knowledge sharing.
