Reconfiguration Design of DCT and Quantization Blocks Based on H.264/AVC

An optimized design of DCT and Quantization blocks with reconfiguration theory based on H.264/AVC is presented in this paper In the case of no more hardware consumption, the key of components reconfiguration process core is abstracted. The function of DCT/Q and IDCT/IQ are realized through changing inter configuration and contact relations with the same circuit. The introduced architecture satisfies the real-time constraints for HD video format.
