THE EFFECT OF DUXIL LONG TERM TREATMENT ON ARTERIAL BLOOD GAS IN ELDERLY PATIENTS WITH COPD

Objective To observe the effect of long term treatment of Duxil on arterial blood gas on elderly patients with COPD.Methods 36 patients with COPD were treated with one tablet Duxil twice per day.The arterial blood gases of patients before treatment,4 weeks and 24 weeks after treatment were analyzed.Results The PaO_2 increased significantly after treatment(P0.01);the PaCO_2 decreased significantly after treatment(P0.01).Conclusion Duxil can improve the arterial blood gases of patients with COPD.
