A lower end of the composite insulator string is hinged with an upper portion of the disc glass insulator string. The disc glass insulator string is formed by several single disc glass insulators which are hinged up and down. The composite insulator string and the disc glass insulator string are connected through using a ball-head hinged structure, which can reduce a bending load and an eccentric load effecting on the composite insulator and protect the composite insulator. Simultaneously, weight of the disc glass insulator string is large and an effect of a hammer is possessed. A windage yaw phenomenon generated by the insulator string is greatly reduced. Generation of a windage yaw flashover accident is avoided and safety of power transmission line is ensured.
