Clinical observation of the accessory treatment effects of Nasosinusitis Relieving Oral Liquid before and after endoscopic surgery of sinus paranasales

2010
Objective To investigate the therapeutic effects of Nasosinusitis Relieving Oral Liquid (NROL) on nasosinusitis administered before and after endoscopic sinus surgery. Methods Ninety cases with chronic sinusitis with nasal polyps were randomly divided into two groups, each group have 45 cases.Patients in two groups were initially treated by antibiotic, intranasal glucocorticoid, haemostatic and mucus discharged drugs, accepted endoscopic sinus surgery, postoperative care for the cavity and usual sinus washing, rechecked until 6 months after operation.Patients in treatment group (n=45) were given NROL from 4 days before surgery to 10 days after it,and they were given local inhaling with NROL in 3 days after surgery for 1 week.Patients in control group (n=45)were given dexamethasone (DXM) and Gentamycin Sulfate injection inhaled through sprayer in 3 days after endoscopic surgery (ESS) on the diseased sinuses.Result The curative and total effective rates were 95.6% and 64.4% for the cases in treating group,86.7% and 42.2% in control group. There was significant difference between two groups (P0.05).Conclusion Combination of ESS and NROL using before and after surgery and inhaling through sprayer following is safe and effective for the treatment of chronic sinusitis, and it can significantly elevate the therapeutic effects for ESS.
