The invention discloses a method for manufacturing small boats. The method includes firstly, manufacturing a boat mold, polishing an inner cavity of the mold, then coating epoxy resin on the inner cavity, curing the epoxy resin, and then polishing the inner cavity again; secondly, coating mold release agents on the polished inner cavity, spraying gel coat resin on the inner cavity and curing the gel coat resin by the aid of methyl ethyl ketone peroxide; thirdly, laying a layer of glass fabrics on the gel coat resin after the methyl ethyl ketone peroxide is sprayed on the gel coat resin, laying 3D (three-dimensional) braided fabrics uniformly filled with foamed plastic strips, and then laying two layers of glass fabrics on the 3D braided fabrics; fourthly, laying a flow guide net, erecting a vacuum auxiliary system, sealing the mold and enabling the vacuum degree of the inside of the mold to range from -0.05MPa to -0.15MPa; fifthly, leading prepared unsaturated resin and curing agent mixed solution into the mold; sixthly, continuously vacuumizing the mold for 8-12 minutes; seventhly, heating the mold by the aid of infrared rays and controlling the temperature of the surface of the mold so that the temperature of the surface of the mold is lower than 50 DEG C; eighthly, completely curing the mold after 4 hours, taking a boat out of the mold and repairing and polishing the boat. The dosage of the methyl ethyl ketone peroxide is 1.5% of the dosage of the gel coat resin. The unsaturated resin comprises 100 parts of Atlac580 and 1 part of cobalt naphthenate 421-1.
