Histological observation of dairy goat mammary gland in different developmental stages.

To reveal the regularity of morphological development of dairy goat mammary gland,the microstructure and ultra-structure of dairy goat mammary gland were observed by HE staining,light microscope and TEM ultramicrotomy.The results showed that the mammogenesis of dairy goat was a successive process including virgin,pregnancy,lactation,and involution.The histological changes during mammary development approximately matched with other ruminant mammogenesis but differed from that of rodents.The observation consummated the morphological data of postnatal development of dairy goat mammary gland.
