Influence of CPM to the volume of the drained exusate from the operated knee joint for the patients with total knee arthroplasty

2000
Objective To observe the influence of early appliance of continuous passive motion (CPM) to the volume of the drained exusate from the operated knee joint for the patients with total knee arthroplasty. Methods The volume of the drained exusate from the operated knee were compared among pre CPM、during CPM and post CPM in the operating day and the first day after the operation. Results The changes of volumes in the drained exusate of the operated knee were no significant difference among pre CPM、during CPM and post CPM (P 0.05 ).Conclusion The early appliance of CPM may not increase the volume of the drained exusate of operated knee obviously.
