[Use of a neuropsychological technic to evaluate the effectiveness of intranasal electrophoresis of L-glutamic acid in patients with oraniocerebral injuries].

: A specially developed method for quantitative and qualitative assessment of disorders of the higher psychic functions in focal lesions of the brain was used in the examination of two groups of patients (25 in each group) with craniocerebral injury; one group was given the ordinary treatment, the other was treated by endonasal L-glutamic acid electrophoresis. The efficacy of the new therapeutic method was demonstrated and a conclusion was drawn that it causes a specific effect on the restoration of the higher psychic functions.
