Estimations of superconducting fluctuation effects in amorphous MoRu and MoRe alloy thin films

2018
Herein, we investigated the superconducting properties of amorphous Mo alloy thin films: molybdenum ruthenium (MoRu) onto c-plane sapphire and molybdenum rhenium (MoRe) glass substrates. To extract the two-dimensional (2D) transport properties from the experimental data, we analyzed the magnetoconductance Δσ = 1/R sq(H, T) − 1/R sq(0, T) by the sum of the mechanisms due to the 2D superconducting fluctuations, weak localization, and electron-electron interaction theories. The result is consistent with the recent simulation result that considers disorder in thin films. In addition, we compared the device parameters of superconducting nitride films, such as niobium nitride and molybdenum nitride using the presents results.
