Field tests of corrosion inhibitors in oil collection systems of the Samotlor field

Experimental field tests of amine-type corrosion inhibitors for protecting oil collection systems of the Samotlor field have shown that they should be used for protecting oil traps. The high efficiency of inhibitor protection permits an extension of equipment service life, a sharp reduction in the number of pipeline breaks, a decline in oil loss, and protection of the environment from pollution.
