The invention discloses a method for improving MBMS receiving property and a device thereof. A user device UE receives an MBMS data block, the MBMS data block is decoded, MBMS data blocks from every RNC are obtained after the decoding, the deviation among the MBMS data blocks from every RNC is detected and the MBMS data blocks from every RNC are merged according to the deviation. The invention ensures that UE in coverage areas at the edge of different RNCs can detect matching MBMS contents from every RNC under the condition that the MBMS service transmitted in different RNCs cannot ensure content synchronization, and the matching MBMS contents are merged to restore the best MBMS content, thus improving MBMS property in the coverage areas at the edge of RNC.
