Effect of plasma exchange on patients with serum - associated disease.

Objective To explore the effect of plasma change on patients with serum - associated dis-ease. Methods Frozen plasma was transfused into patients with the same volume in substitution of the reject-ed autologous plasma by the plasmatheresis with closed continuous membrane exchanged volume is in the range of 2000-2500ml.Results Better therapeutic effect was observed in the patients with SLE、TTP、HUS and thyroidism crisis after the treatment; and the short - term' effect was much better on the RA patients than the long- term.Conclusions The treatment should be started earlier to the patients with SLE、TTP、HUS、thy-roidism crisis, and artificial liver system may be the first choice in the patient with serious hepatitis.
