The present invention relates to a mail transmission architecture between a transmitter and one or more recipients, characterized in that it comprises an email client component (MUA) emitter, a message submission agent component (MSA), N message transfer agent components (MTA), a correspondence directory component (CR) in which is stored an association relationship between each of the N processing attributes from a predefined set of attributes and N processing each of the N components of message transfer agent (MTA), the email client component (MUA) transmitter transmitting the message submission agent component (MSA), email and a treatment attribute that was assigned to it by transmitter, and the message submission agent component (MSA) transferring the email to the message transfer agent component (MTA) for the assigned treatment attribute to the email by the issuer according to the association relationship stored in the correspondence directory component.
