A Communication-less Master Slaver Control for Three Phase Cascaded-Inverters Microgrid System

Since extensive research on decentralized controls has been done for single-phase series system. As for the three-phase system, there is still difficult to achieve the three-phase voltage balance. In this paper, a communication-less master slaver control method is proposed to obtain the frequency synchronization of three-phase cascaded converter system. The first DG in each phase can maintain the three-phase voltage symmetry according to the central controller, the other DGs of each phase follow them automatically via power factor droop control. At the same time, it reduced the cost of unnecessary communications. Finally, the simulation results illustrate the validity of the proposed method.
