Computer simulation model of electromagnetic noise conduction in converter station

High level electromagnetic noise is produced in HVDC converter station,which could cause harmful interference with carrier systems in the frequency range of 30 to 500 kHz.Based on the noise measurement results of Gaozhao HVDC system,a simulation model has been established to evaluate the electromagnetic noise,which accords with the converter station function parameters and the primary equipment's high frequency parameter.Comparison between calculation and measurement values for Zhaoqing converter station is given to illustrate the validity of the model.
