Improvement in symptoms of anxiety and depression in patients with atopic dermatitis after treatment with baricitinib.

Patients with atopic dermatitis (AD) often experience anxiety and depression as associated symptoms, as comorbid psychiatric illness, or as both.1, 2 Baricitinib treatment improved signs and symptoms in patients with moderate-to-severe AD.3, 4 We describe here the outcomes of baricitinib treatment on the symptoms of anxiety and depression within subpopulations of patients who reported borderline or abnormal severity of these symptoms from three studies.
