The invention discloses a method for welding a hollow stud with composite rotating arc heat resources. The method comprises: heating a position to be welded through an induction heating machine head before welding; igniting and heating an electric arc when reaching preset time and temperature, and stopping heating an induction power supply synchronously; starting a rotating electric arc controller to generate a magnetic field and generate electromagnetic force to the electric arc, so as to make the whole electric arc axially rotate around the hollow stud or a nut to heat base metal and the hollow stud or the nut evenly; generating plastic flowing and starting melting by an interface to be bonded, and sending the stud to a melting pool, cooling and solidifying the stud after forming the melting pool; and subsequently, starting an induction heating machine head after welding to heat a joint position, and slowly cooling the hollow stud after welding. The method adopts the composite heat resources of induction and the rotating electric arc, solves the problem that the hollow stud and the nut evenly melt, and realizes the welding of the hollow stud and a metal base body. The method adopts an induction heat resource to heat the metal base body, so as to greatly reduce the temperature difference of the metal base body and the stud during welding, and overcome the defect of burning out the stud caused by over-high temperature.
