After the Internationalism, architects are questioning the starting point of architectural design. Therefore, it is inevitable to go through a period of confusion looking for a new basis. Under such situation, this thesis has chosen Symbolism as one of the possible valuation basis. It experiments how, through what kind of process, symbolic concepts assume the form of architecture. Only when the issue of Symbolism is accounted, the reality is complete. The true reality deals with not only the phygical reality but also the conceptual reality-imagination-, by which our phygical reality can be developed. This thesis experiments on a game for shaping process of symbolism. The shaping process starts with re-interpretation of SO-SOE-WON map. Instead of paying attention to the phygical and geographical characteristics of SO-SOE-WON, the thesis has foused on the meaning of the names in SO-SOE-WON map. The process continues into analyzing and forming a hierarchy within the symbolic meaning of the objects in SO-SOE-WON.
