Pembentukan Senyawa Chromone Pohon Gaharu (Gyrinops verstegii) Pada Lahan Polikultur di Kampung Susweni

Agarwood is one of aromatic substances that has higher economic value. Forming of agarwood is as a result of pathohenesis processes in which these processes occur due to damage on stem, branches or other physical damages.  These damages can be in consequence of insect activities which attack plants. Chromone compound  is responsible for aroma of quality of agarwood.  The goal of this research was to know relationship between damage caused by insectnand aromatic compound.  Result of GCMS shows that compund of 2-(2-phenylethyl) Chromen-4-one was formed.  Then, regression analysis between the level of damage and forming of deriving compound show strong correlation with r2 = 0,509 and r = 0,713.
