Minimally invasive techniques are increasingly favorable for human patients due to pain relief and shorter hospitalization compared with the conventional surgical treatment.They include interventional radiology(IR),endoscopic surgery,and their combination.In small animal medicine,the pet owners might preferably choose less invasive treatment as well.So,some veterinarians have already begun the clinical application of these techniques.
