The invention relates to a right-angle drive reducer for a milling machine, belonging to the technical field of a drive reducer. The right-angle drive reducer for the milling machine comprises a differential mechanism assembly, a pair of reducing spiral bevel gears and a brake assembly, wherein the reducing spiral bevel gears and the differential mechanism assembly are assembled in a main box shell; the brake is arranged externally; a differential mechanism is provided with bevel gears and planet wheels; an input end and an output end are right-angle drive structures; driving wheels of the reducing spiral bevel gears are connected with the input end; driven wheels of the reducing spiral bevel gears are connected with a shell of the differential mechanism; the shell of the differential mechanism is connected by the differential mechanism assembly with a drive output shaft and a brake shaft for installing the brake. The right-angle drive reducer for the milling machine has the advantages of novel design, compact structure, advanced technology, high reliability, low cost and the like.
