Solidification tests on reprocessing waste liquid with ROBE process

The solidification process for the liquid waste containing salts from the nuclear power plants are developed using ROBE Process. The salts solution is condensed in the reduced pressure and solidified using additives. Sodium borate was chosen as the additive. The volume reduction ratio 1/3 is achieved. The physical properties of solidificates were measured and the effect of {gamma} irradiating was investigated.
