Solar - terrestrial causa efficiens of emergency cardiovascular pathology

2002
Cardiovascular pathology, because of its epidemiological spread and unpleasant outcome, is one of the greatest contemporary problems of civilized society and of special importance is emergency cardiovascular pathology that has meteor tropic character. In order to define solar terrestrial causa efficiens of emergency cardiovascular pathology, we undertook this comparative retrospective analysis of the number of interventions of the Emergency medical care service in Belgrade due to the whole of cardiovascular pathology and separately due to acute myocardial infarction, angina pectoris and arterial hypertension for the period September 01, 1999 - March 31, 2002, as the index of temporary status of diseased people in prehospital conditions and the data of National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration on geomagnetic storms and levels ofX radiation in this period, as an indicator of solar - terrestrial events. It is found that geomagnetic storms and higher levels ofX radiation, as solar terrestrial factors, significantly increase the incidence of the examined emergency cardiovascular pathology and that these factors are biotropic risk factor s for the population ofmeteor opats. The results of this research promote bioprognosis as an effective model for prevention of meteorotropism of cardiovascular pathology.
