Determination of characteristic parameters of n-CdxHg1−xTe from quantum oscillations

The longitudinal and transverse magnetoresistances are studied in solid solutions of n-CdxHg1−xTe with x=0.19 and 0.226 at hydrogen and helium temperatures. Effective masses at the bottom of the conduction band are determined from an analysis of oscillation amplitudes at helium temperatures. The values of g-factors are determined from the splitting of the first magnetoresistance peak.
