Bi-Static Reflectometry Using Soop for Atmospheric Applications

We present a new passive bi-static radar measurement concept that employs digital satellite TV signals transmitted from geostationary orbit as signals of opportunity to measure precipitation. We also present experimental results using artificial targets, and provide results on measured Doppler frequencies as well.
