Falando nisso, pessoal... Rodas de conversas virtuais em tempos de pandemia

In the first half of 2020, in the worldwide context of social isolation and quarantine period, the remote teaching and distance education activities became a reality. To alleviate the impacts caused by social distancing, a group formed by professors and students from the Instituto Federal Catarinense - Campus Blumenau prepared an extension project to interact and maintain proximity with the academic community, proposing weekly virtual conversation circles. This article aims to present a case report on educational alternatives proposed during the pandemic. The “Speaking of Which, Fellows” project took place through the realization of virtual events, in order to approach and socially interact with the community during this period of diverse challenges. The virtual events, held via the Google Meet platform addressed science, education, health, environment, and technology. These events provided the IFC-Campus Blumenau community with social interaction, discussions, debates and relaxation among the participants.
