The invention discloses a steel rail correction device and a construction method thereof. A steel rail is arranged on slippage track beams, a correction device is rotatably connected onto the slippage track beams on two sides of the steel rail, an arc-shaped end is formed on the correction device and abuts against the lateral side of the steel rail, the correction device is turned to enable the arc-shaped end to abut against the steel rail and push the steel rail to move towards the designed axis direction, and accordingly a central line of the steel rail coincides with the designed axis. The correction device is respectively and rotatably connected onto the slippage track beams on two sides of the steel rail, so that the arc-shaped end of the correction device abuts against the lateral side of the steel rail, the correction device is turned to enable the arc-shaped end to abut against and push the steel rail to move towards the designed axis direction, accordingly the central line of the steel rail coincides with the designed axis, and the steel rail correction device is used for correcting the steel rail and is simple in operation and good in correction effect.
