The Antimanicomial and the Psychiatric Reform Policy longed and widespread , still faces major challenges , relating principally to a lack of coordination between the health sectors , as well as a considerable deficit of strengthening this policy. In this sense , the present paper discusses the challenges that underlie the effectiveness of the Anti-Asylum Policy in Brazil; analyze the anti-asylum policy and the Neoliberal Context ; as well as evaluate dichotomies between theory Antimanicomial Policy front of his play practice , using such a bibliographic study with a qualitative approach . By which it was possible to conclude that unfortunately the care in mental health still carries great difficulties facing the prejudice and fears that history took care to associate with the care of this aspect to humans , which requires a change of these paradigms , especially by professionals active .
