Coverage for medical scanning device

Cover (1) for a shaft (33) of medical scanner, the cover comprising an elongate tubular member (3) and arranged for application on a distal tip of the shaft of medical scanner, extending the cover over the least part of the length of a distal end of the shaft, the tubular member comprising an inner surface (7) at least a portion of which grips the shaft and holds the cover in place, and an outer surface comprising a plurality of elements (2) projecting separated, characterized in that the separate projecting members are hinged and attached to an outer surface of the elongated tubular element, each projecting element a tip and a base, being moveable protruding elements around their bases articulated at an angle of between 0o, in which the tips of the elements salient point to a proximal end of medical device scanning, and an angle of 170-180o in which the tips of the elements protruding point toward the distal end of the medical device scan or any angle between 0 and 170-180o.
