The present invention belongs to the field of design of the magnesium alloy, is a low-cost high plastic deformation of magnesium alloy, the raw material composition and mass percentage: Sn: 0.10 to 1.00%; Al: between 0.10% to 3.00%; manganese: 0.10 to 1.00%; the rest is industrial pure magnesium and inevitable impurities. Preparation steps: melting magnesium and aluminum first, and then addition of the tin, manganese alloying elements coupled to detail, by stirring, refining treatment after casting into an ingot, followed by homogenization heat treatment of ingots, extrusion extruded to give the corresponding profiles; homogenization or without direct extrusion process to give the corresponding profile. Feature of the present invention, the use of relatively inexpensive, low melting points and the aluminum raw material, prepared by low cost high plastic deformation of magnesium alloy starting material to control the content of the high cost of tin.
