Disclosed herein is a battery module having two or more stacked battery cells, which can be charged and discharged, and cartridges for fixing the corresponding battery cell to form a battery cell stack, each of said cartridges, a cooling fin, which communicates with the battery cells in contact and a having cartridge frame for fixing the heat dissipating fin, the cooling fin has two cooling plates which are coupled two cooling plates in a state to each of the cartridge frame, in which the cooling plates are spaced apart to define a coolant flow passage, each of said cartridges is provided with openings with the coolant flow passage between the cooling plates communicate, and a sealing member for isolating a space which is defined between the cartridge frame and the battery cells, benachbar from the coolant flow path at a stacking interface between a cartridge and a th cartridge is provided.
