Method for preparing zirconium oxychloride solution

The invention discloses a method for preparing a zirconium oxychloride solution by low temperature acidolysis and high-efficiency desiliconization. The method includes: taking a transformation material generated during production of zirconia by an alkali fusion technique as the raw material, conducting decomposition by technical hydrochloric acid or pickling waste acid under low temperature to obtain a high concentration zirconium solution; mixing the high concentration zirconium solution with a slag washing liquid to obtain a zirconium solution with certain concentration and acidity, then performing flocculation for deep removal of silicic acid therein, thus obtaining a high-purity zirconium oxychloride solution. Compared with the boiling acidolysis reaction in the traditional technologies for production of zirconia by a molten salt technique, the method provided by the invention can save a lot of steam, shorten the zirconium solution cooling time, simultaneously omits zirconium solution primary cooling crystallization and water dissolution steps, simplifies the production process, improves production efficiency, and reduces energy consumption and equipment investment.
