The invention concerns a method for the tight sealing of an X-radiation detector in solid state comprising a detecting block made of amorphous silicon (10-pmn) and a film of flickering substance (24/26). The block comprises peripheral connection zones (3) constituted by the flexing of an anisotropic conductive film (31) on the ends of the conductor tracks (22) deposited on the blocks and of the external conductors (30). The invention is characterised in that, the flexing zone (31) and, at least the periphery of the flickering film (24/26), are coated with a continuous layer (6) of a sealing material, for example by screen process printing.
