The Study on Genetic Polymorphism of Eight Microsatellite Loci in Gansu Alpine Fine Wool Sheep that Used for Both Mutton and Wool

2009
The polymorphism of eight microsatellite loci were analysed in Gansu alpine fine wool sheep that used for both mutton and wool.Allele frequencies, effective number of alleles, heterozygosity and polymorphisms information content were calculated for all microsatellite loci. The results indicated that Ne,H,PIC at BM3501 were the highest(Ne=7.30,H=0.866,PIC=0.848).Ne,H,PIC at BM3413 were the lowest(Ne=2.33,H=0.573,PIC=0.478).There were remarkable polymorphism at eight microsatellite loci in Gansu alpine fine wool sheep that used for both mutton and wool. The eight microsatellite loci were highly genetic polymorphism except BM3413 intermediately genetic polymorphism. Therefore, genetic heterozygosity of Gansu alpine fine wool sheep that used for both mutton and wool was higher, genetic polymorphism was plentiful. There has a vast leeway to be selected. And not only could these eight microsatellite loci be used for genetic polymorphism evaluation in Gansu alpine fine wool sheep that used for both mutton and wool, but also those loci could be applied in further study about wool and meat traits.
