Copper nickel smelting process with oxygen-enriched side-blowing bath smelting method

2009
The invention discloses a copper nickel smelting process with an oxygen-enriched side-blowing bath smelting method, comprising the main procedures of lump material pulverizing and screening, raw material storage and proportioning, oxygen-enriched side-blowing smelting, smelting dregs depletion, converter blowing smelting, high nickel matte water granulation, product packing and the like. The process has advantages of short process flow and less investment. The process needs a small amount of fuel during smelting by fully utilizing oxidation reaction heat of copper-nickel concentrate, thereby having obvious energy-saving effect. In addition, the invention has simple material preparation of furnace charge, high smelting intensity and high fluidized-bed capacity. Because oxygen-enriched air is blown during smelting, the concentration of SO2 in produced flue gas is high, which is beneficial to recycling sulfur in the raw materials, and well solving the problem of environmental pollution.
