OneTouch—The Worker’s App

Most powerful and emerging technology these days is Android. This project aims to create an interactive Android application. Users can find different types of workers that includes plumber, electrician, carpenter, packers and movers, home cleaners on OneTouch application. Due to lack of geographical knowledge, people need more time to explore such new locality. In such situations, an application which can help people to get home services quickly proves to be a useful and important tool. Our aim is to design an application, to help needy people to find home service worker very easily in a cost efficient manner. It will provide list of worker for a particular selected category and user will be able to select worker by their choice. Workers available in the nearby location will be given priority first and if no worker is available then radius of finding worker will be increased gradually. Worker’s location, distance, and time required to reach home will be calculated and visible to the user. The cost is calculated dynamically by the app after considering different parameters and final cost is displayed to the user. Dynamic pricing is applied in order to overcome less salary problems of the workers.
