Data Presentation In Industries Using Virtual Reality

The new era is wide open to virtual reality, when looking into that, the growth of virtual reality in industries are a bit slow. The possibilities of virtual reality in industries are limitless as these can substitute the training methodologies, data representations, portability of the plant etc. The virtual reality is a platform that outwit the senses using a virtual world, here it is developed using Unreal engine4. And the models are realized with the help of Fusion 360. The data from the plant is collected using the data acquisition system. The actuating signals are given from the VR based controller. Using these tools it is possible to create a virtual industry and get live feed from the plant and mimic these changing parameters in the virtual environment. This can provide a different out look to the data presentation and training platforms in the industries. With virtual reality the complex plans and diagrams used for explaining the structure can be substituted with live plant in virtual environment. By integrating this with IOT, it is possible to carry an entire plant around the world and can monitor the parameters. The gadgets like Oculus VR, Samsung VR etc can be used for viewing purpose.
