Batı Karadeniz Bölgesiʼnde fasulye köşeli yaprak lekesi hastalığının kimyasal mücadelesi üzerinde araştırmalar

2015
Pseudocercospora griseola , the causal agent of angular leaf spot, caused important damage in domestic varieties and was first identified in Caycuma district of Zonguldak province in Turkey. This pathogen has caused serious damage on local bean genotypes in the province. The disease begins as angular spots on leaves which is followed by quick death of leaves and it causes deep brown wounds on capsules. Since chemical control is not recommended for the disease in Turkey, it causes severe yield and economic losses. Besides, because the producers use domestic seeds, the infected seeds will increase the inoculum source year by year and distribute the disease to close by provinces. With this project, chemical control possibilities of P. griseola that is the causal agent of angular leaf spot in locally grown bean genotypes were investigated. Chemicals were applied as seed treatment and foliar spraying. The trials were carried out in Caycuma and Gokcebey the district of Zonguldak in 2010, 2011 and 2012. Difenoconazole, Azoxystrobin and Mancozeb showed the highest impact in control of the disease.
