Balance coil and inverter for driving backlight

A balance coil and a backlight driving inverter are provided to increase a core saturation generation margin by increasing an axial size of a bobbin. A balance coil for an inverter which drives plural parallel lamps in a multiple backlight unit, includes a bobbin(21), a core(22), and primary and secondary coils(23a,23b). The bobbin includes a winding portion separated into plural sections. The core is embedded inside the bobbin. The primary and secondary coils are implemented on the separated winding portion. The winding portion includes first to third winding portions. The first winding portion is formed at a center of the bobbin. The primary coil is wound around the first winding portion. The second and third coils are arranged at both sides of the first winding portion. The second coil connected to the lamp is wound round the second and third winding portions.
