PURPOSE: An electric dust collector and a home appliance comprising the same are provided to secure the insulating distance between a plurality of electrodes and to avoid the degradation of the electric dust collector. CONSTITUTION: An electric dust collector comprises an electrification unit(10) charging the dust in the air and a dust collection unit(20) collecting charged dust particles. The electrification unit includes a case which includes a plurality of first electrodes applying high voltage and a plurality of second electrodes grounded by alternatively laminating with the first electrodes. The case accommodates the first and second electrodes and defines the dust collection unit. The case includes the case for the dust collection unit having a first electrode support unit supporting the first and second electrodes in a predetermined interval.
