Vibrational and orientation relaxations and pair angular correlations of molecules in liquid chlorobenzene

Vibrational and orientation motion of liquid chlorobenzene molecules was studied by measuring ν 1 (C-H), ν 2 (C-C), and ν 3 (C-Cl) A 1 q Raman band shapes in the temperature range 293-383 K. The character of pair orientationcorrelations of molecules was analyzed based on the temperature dependence of the angular correlation function calculated from the degree of depolarization of molecular light scattering.
