The invention relates to a positioning device (1) for a movable furniture part (4) provided with a guide means (17) is movably guided on a furniture body of a furniture item, wherein the positioning device (1) for positioning of the furniture part (4) at a rear portion of the guide means (17), particularly in a rear rail portion of a pull-out rail (2), is provided. It is essential that the positioning device (1), a mounting element (6, 16a-16c, 23, 24, 27) with which the positioning device (1) at a first mounting position on the guide means (17) in such a releasably attachable, that in the course of assembly of the furniture part (4) at least part of the attachment means (11, 21a, 21b, 26, 28) before reaching a predetermined force to the furniture part (4) are connectable, wherein a loosening of the mounting element (6, 16a-16c , 23, 24, 27) is provided from the first mounting position when the furniture part (4) is moved further in the course of assembly or during a subsequent dismounting of the guide means (17) having at least the predetermined force in a predetermined direction.
