Analyzing the TCM syndromes of pancreatic cancer

Objective: Understanding pancreatic cancer'syndromes in traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) and its regular pattern and provide a theoretical basis for further clinical study.Methods: This study adopt the methods of literature analysis on TCM syndromes of pancreatic cancer by using the computer retrieval and artificial retrieval.The data was analyzed by Frequencie.Results: The study included 26 papers and 25 books according to the criteria and exclusion standard.The results show that most experts think pancreatic cancer is excess syndrome,inclunding Qi stagnation and blood stasis,stagnation of damp-heat/ retention of damp-heat,spleen deficiency and dampness-heat/ stagnation of dampness and yin deficiency(include yin deficiency inner heat and deficiency of both qi and yin).Most experts think the location of pancreatic cancer is spleen(spleen and stomach),other experts think is liver(liver and gallbladder).Blood stasis and dampness are the pathological products of pancreatic cancer.Conclusion: The present research of TCM syndrome of pancreatic cancer is still in the initial stage.It is necessary to investigate TCM syndrome differentiation of pancreatic cancer.
